Frequently Asked Questions

Because asking questions is sacred too.

You deserve to feel informed, seen, and confident before inviting anyone into your birth space. Below are the questions most often asked by the women I serve, answered with honesty, care, and truth.

What kind of births do you support?

I support all births led by the woman giving birth. That means hospital, home birth, birth center, midwife-led, or free birth. My role is not to direct or control, but to guide, protect, and hold space for you to birth on your terms. Whether you desire clinical support or a sacred, undisturbed free birth, I’m here to walk with you.

What makes your approach different from other doulas?

I don’t just offer physical birth support.

I offer emotional, spiritual, and ancestral preparation. My work is grounded in womb wellness, generational healing, and the sacred tradition of women being held by women through their birthing rites. I bring warmth, wisdom, and rooted presence, not just a bag of tools, but a path to transformation.

What’s the difference between your packages?

Each package builds upon the last.

  • Sacred Birth Support offers strong, foundational care, education, planning, day-of support, and a postpartum visit.

  • Womb & Birth Wisdom adds deep womb healing, nourishment visits, and sacred closing practices like yoni steaming and belly binding.

  • The Full Transformation includes everything, with extended care, spiritual rituals, community integration, and access to pelvic floor and wellness circles.

When should I reach out to begin care?

The sooner, the better, as early in your pregnancy as possible. Womb healing and emotional preparation are most powerful when done over time. However, I do offer care later in pregnancy if space is available. If your spirit feels drawn here, reach out now. Your timing is already divine.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I believe every woman deserves this level of care. Flexible payment plans are available for each package, and we can discuss what feels accessible and aligned for you during your consultation. Check out our plans here

Do you take insurance?

At this time, I do not accept insurance. However, many clients are able to use HSA or FSA funds to cover doula services. I can provide documentation if you plan to submit for reimbursement.

What if I don’t want a free birth but still want holistic support?

You are absolutely welcome. My work is not exclusive to free birth or unassisted birth. Many of my clients choose hospitals or midwife-assisted home births. What matters most is that you desire care that’s intuitive, spiritually grounded, and centered around your autonomy.

Will you travel to me if I live outside Chicago?

I currently serve Chicago and surrounding areas, but am open to supporting women in nearby cities on a case-by-case basis. Reach out and let’s talk about what’s possible. Click here to book a call

Do you offer postpartum-only support?

Yes. If you’ve already given birth and are seeking womb healing, nourishment, belly binding, or spiritual closure, I offer standalone postpartum support. These services can also be customized into a postpartum package.

I’ve had trauma in past births. Can you help me?

Yes. And thank you for being brave enough to ask.

Much of my work is rooted in trauma-informed care, emotional safety, and spiritual reclamation. I’ve walked through traumatic birth and come out the other side. You do not have to carry your story alone, and you do not have to repeat the past. We will move through it, together. Book a Call Now

What happens after I reach out?

You’ll be invited to book a free connection call where we’ll talk through your journey, your desires, and how I can support you. If it’s a good fit, we’ll walk forward together with clarity and intention. This is a sacred relationship, and it starts with conversation, not pressure.
